Due to EU sanctions against Russia and Belarus, DHL Express requires an additional declaration for certain HS codes and specific destinations regarding customs. This declaration pertains to the ban on re-export (re-exportation) of certain goods. DHL Express may only send export shipments (aviation) with this additional declaration.
The goods in question are related to aviation, specifically 'common high priority items.' These include electronics such as wireless communication, navigation, photography, transistors, metalworking, lasers, etc. Please check the list of Common High Priority goods codes below as an attachment to see if your item falls under one of these HS codes.
These sanctions apply to exports to all countries, except for shipments to: United States of America, Japan, United Kingdom, South Korea, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Iceland.
The text of the declaration that must be stated on the commercial invoice or attached as a separate document to the shipment is as follows:
'Hereby, I declare that the goods will not be re-exported to destinations in Russia and Belarus, and that this has already been included and agreed upon in the contract with the buyer.'
This must be done for every shipment to which this declaration applies.
